Sony Ericsson W950i alarm is driving me crazy

Half a year ago I purchased the Sony Ericsson W950i. I was waiting for it a long time, because I wanted a phone with a nice display, loads of memory and some organizer functionality and the W950i seemed to just fit. I should mention that design was also an issue and as my old phone just broke in January, I couldn't wait for the iPhone although it was announced already. But it will still take some time until it will be available here in Europe.
So far I was pleased with the W950i in general with some minor issues. One is that the device generally is just to slow. I've seen the M600 before and just thought, please let the W950i be faster, but unfortunately it wasn't. I hoped that a firmware upgrade could fixe the performance issues to some point, but it didn't. It just introduced new bugs, which are really annoying by now. The most annoying one is that it keeps storing old alarm settings. I'm not able to delete old alarms. So everytime I set a new alarm time it it will be forever. And now SE even stopped the support for the product. The product is not even on the market for more then a year and they stop the support.
So the only option now is to master reset the phone and install everything again and then never use the alarm anymore. That's pretty bad and will most likely drive me to another device very soon if I can't fix it. Has anybody any idea how to fix it. I've searched the web, but couldn't find any reasonable solution other than master reset the device. I'm willing to dive into the file system if there is solution.

Hey
yea i had the same problem as you. i was looking through the net for something to help me and found this website http://www.canadiancontent.net/mobile/SonyEricsson_W950i.html
if you go under secret codes for sony ericsson phones.
i think from there you go to the
sony ericsson secret menu and there is had the open of deleting the internal memory. click yes and it will will out the whole of the internal - not the other 1, but the inside 1. NOT the 4 gig.
well anyways, of course before u do this, u have to backup your files. i was so stupid i didnt back up my phone contacts, so i lost them...
but yea backup everything into ur computer or the 4 gig memory and u shud be fine. perfer the comp jst in case
alarm should work as normal - it did for me this morning
