Microsoft Silverlight bubbles

It's interesting to follow the discussion about Microsoft's Silverlight announcement. On the one hand you see the hype about a "reboot of the web" as Scoble puts it and on the other hand you have the Microsoft critics that begin to argue on the similarities to Flash and Java.
What's also interesting to see is that Microsoft emphasizes heavily on the video features to promote the in combination with Silverlight Streaming Service, which gives away 4GB of storage and a stream up to 1 million minutes of online video delivery at 700kbps (around DVD quality) for free.
